20 years ago today...Press PhotoJun 27, 2005 20 years ago today, Dr. Day was involved in the first ever live 2 way video transmission from North America to mainland China. Drs. Day and Chung (then Head of Surgery at UBC) gave live lectures to the Faculty at Jinan University. Members of Vancouver City council, including Mayor Harcourt (later to become Premier of British Columbia), were in Jinan as part of that audience.  |
