PUBLICATIONS Since 1970, over 100 scientific articles, book chapters, in areas of orthopaedics and arthroscopic surgery / sports medicine. Many articles and presentations in the area of health policy and economics, including editorials, Op-Ed columns etc. in national and local news media. Guest Editor, Vancouver Sun, October 2008 special weekend health issue. LECTURES Invited visiting professor and lecturer (on academic orthopaedic topics) at many universities and learned societies, including McGill, Manitoba, Ottawa, N. Carolina, Yale, Taipei, Manila, Cambridge (England), Madrid, Santiago, Mexico City, Acapulco, Chihuahua, Athens, Rome, Bombay, Havana and Sydney. Multiple lectures and speeches on health policy and health economics. RESEARCH Arthroscopy Association of North America: Research Committee Chairman, 1998 -2002. Past Executive Committee CORS. Past recipient / co-recipient of multiple research grants and awards. Current projects on orthopaedic - engineering devices. |
